I join the fight. I've used several of these routers since discovering Wi-Fi. I have Charter Communications now Spectrum is web only. I noticed that it says for Windows 8, I used XP and Windows 7. Now I have Windows 10 and have no problems. I don't know how fast it is as it's fast enough for my purposes. I've used it with multiple smartphones, desktops, and laptops. I've had these cheaper Netgear routers for anywhere from a few months to 6 years ago. . When I first started buying them, they cost about $30 at Fry's, Sams, and Walmart. I bought this one from Revain. This one still works fine, but I will update it. Of course it will be Netgear.
