We bought the kid's version of this belt directly from GRIP6; Our first review is a standard belt with a frame and a buckle, which is much easier for a child to get used to, or even a nylon belt with a clip-on buckle. I'll update this post as our child gets used to this method of inserting the strap in the front and then tightening and tucking the extra strap in the back over time. I still give it 4 stars because it is very well made.
