I've seen a few reviews where people mentioned the difficulty of assembly. There may have been various revisions, I honestly don't know. I assembled mine so I took one side and attached the dowels to it with the screws provided. I left them loose enough that they could be moved if necessary to align the holes on the other side. Also, the dowels are plastic - once you've tightened both sides enough, it won't wobble, stop, or you'll rip the dowels off. As far as function goes, it does what I need. It fits two controllers and my headset, allowing me one compact place to charge them all without just sprawling them out on my desk. And since it's basically a storage method, everything is neatly folded into a corner, making it easier to move everything at once.
