Review on Start-Up Chile by Robin Kanattu Thomas

Astrek Innovations was selected to the Startup Chile Seed G22 accelerator program in 2019. This time last year, I could travelled to Santiago Chile to attend 7 month accelerator, receiving grants and extensive mentorship. On the back of the support received, we are well on the way on our development goals and thank Start-Up Chile and their startup ecosystem for their support. Being a healthcare robotics startup, this was crucial in defining our company.



While attending the Startup Chile program we were in our MVP stage . Startup Chile

helped us in improving our vision , Helped us in expanding to different verticals in our business. It was really an amazing opportunity for us . They have multiple program for startups in different stages . Their programs are well structured and helps startup to achieve their next milestones .



I consider this as a good program for startups who wants to expand to Latin America . They have a very good co working space and mentor network. Startup can also take advantage of their founders network and expand your skills . They have weekly mock pitch sessions , Financial reviews and presentations on different business topics.





Startup chile also provide startup with wide range of opportunity to attend different programs and competitions.

Here are some photos during the program . Another benefit I personally received was it is a beautiful country with lot of amazing places to visit I was also able to learn Spanish in order to stay there for 7 months. The program is completely in English you don't require to learn Spanish .



They also organize different hackathons and talks with great Entrepreneurs like Ian Small CEO of Evernote.

Possibility of a extension of

$5M CLP (Around $6,5K USD).



ACCELERATION PROGRAM (IGNITE)

For startups with a functional product an early validation.

From a functional product to reach product-market fit.

Four-month program.

Two cohorts per year. Up to 30 startups each.

Equity-free funding of $25M CLP (Around $35K USD).

Possibility of a extension of $25M CLP (Around $35K USD).





SCALE PROGRAM(GROWTH)

For the expansion of consolidated innovative and tech-based startups

Startups in expansion stage.

Twelve-month program.

Two cohorts per year. Up to 10-15 startups each.

Equity-free funding of $75M CLP (Around $100K USD).





The startup can apply for any of this program according to their stage .

They also help us with interns and equity free funding which will help startup to accelerate the growth really fast
