Very soft and comfortable on the foot. The stretchy fabric nestles gently against your legs. That's exactly how I felt when I tried on a pair of black/suede soles/low heels (model Black-2805-3.5-m). I wear 8.5 street shoes, bought them in size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I can even wear it with a thin sock. The round toe box is spacious, very comfortable. I didn't have to take a size up (as recommended by the seller in the description). Get your normal size. Worked perfectly for my wide feet. To my surprise, the split sole (arch area, right in the middle of the sole) has NO support. It's just a thick web. Walking was like wearing a thick sock with a heel attached. I have a strong bow but no dance experience. My dance teacher recommends shoes with split soles, which give me more freedom of movement. Perhaps for someone who is older or has a problem foot, a firm sole with a supportive/hard upper would be a more comfortable choice. Love how wide the toe is. I try on many training shoes looking for the right size and so far this is my favorite. New shoes, right out of the box, smell, but not for long. Speaking of how comfortable the shoes are. I just noticed that the suede soles are glued. I didn't take the shoes to the dance floor, I hope these soles stay.
