Generally, revain reviews are spot on. However, not this time. I've been wearing cheap Target leggings for years and they always end up getting holes in them, so I figured the time has come for me to invest in a good pair of leggings that'll last me longer than a month or two. I shopped around and almost everyone seemed to be amazed by these leggings so I pulled the trigger.I'm 5'1 and 130 pounds with a bit of love around my mid section, so I thought these would be perfect. I ordered a size small based on the other reviews. When I received them, I was surprised by how shiny they are. I mean, they're REALLY shiny. They're like, 'I'm only going to wear these for when I go jogging' shiny. But, since I bought them for the high waist to tuck in the little extra I've got, it makes running in them a bit difficult due to the fact that it restricts my breathing a bit.Speaking of breathing, whenever I inhale deeply, the waist likes to roll down to my hips - causing a severe muffin top therefore defeating the entire purpose of why I bought these to begin with. They fit me pretty tightly but I still find myself pulling them up constantly.These are also not opaque. If your top is a tiny bit short, someone WILL see your underwear.I'm giving this product a two star review because it did slim me down (when they stayed up), and also because I understand that every body is different. This might have worked out really well for someone else, but definitely not for me. Back to Target I go.
