Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Stainless Steel Masher by JAMIE OLIVER: Enhancing your Kitchen Experience by Alicia Smith

Looks great, the handle feels good

It does what it's supposed to and very well. Transforms boiled potatoes into a perfectly mashed mass. I also use it for bean sauce. It looks great, the handle feels great, and the flatter surface than a traditional potato masher seems to get the job done in half the time. I really enjoy working with this tool. It's not perfect, however, as it's a little harder to clean than a traditional crusher. Potatoes get stuck in several tight nooks and crannies of this appliance, requiring extra care when washing. All the time I save at the stove is wasted washing dishes. If I had to reverse engineer this I would just remove the plastic "side scraper" on the side of the pusher as it doesn't work that well anyway and is part of the dishwashing hassle. While the stylish design is rather insignificant, it comes at the expense of a little extra drawer space. Generally it gets a recommendation from me, but I'm still looking for the most advanced potato masher design in the world. PROS: - makes mashed potatoes and then GOOD! - Gets the job done a little quicker than a traditional blender - Stylish design, comfortable grip, makes blending easier CONS: - The "side scraper" tool on the side of the blender isn't as useful - it's a little harder to clean than a traditional one Pusher - takes up more space in the drawer than a traditional pusher
