I needed a monitor that I could take with me to see clients and also use as a second monitor. That helped. You'll never need 4K if you're using it as a second monitor, but the resolution is excellent. I have three problems with the monitor. The case (similar to an iPad case, foldable, magnetic) doesn't offer many angle options. I would have liked better brightness. It also seems that every time my laptop wakes up (connected via USB-c), the brightness resets to default. Easy setup to tweak, just annoying. Also, the screen is thin. Be careful when choosing. These monitors have no glass or surface to protect the LCD. If you (of course) take it between your finger and thumb, there's a good chance it will damage the monitor. If you travel with him, be careful. I would buy another and/or pay more if there was a separate stand to buy as an adapter.
