I ordered this as a gift for my husband to use as a briefcase and laptop case. He was delighted when he opened the package and saw the skin. I ordered dark brown. It is slightly worn and looks very well made. Skin smells and looks great. The stitching is even and looks very strong. Front closures made of very durable metal. The inside is made of dense suede material, attractive and thick. There is a zippered pocket on the back of the bag for easy access to travel documents or other miscellaneous items without having to open the main compartments. The main compartments are large enough to securely store a 15.5 inch laptop and this zipped compartment can accommodate files or other items. There are also smaller pockets for pens and various stationery. He hasn't used the shoulder strap yet but it looks very durable and was comfortable when he gave it a quick try. He likes that he doesn't fall over when he puts it down. The bottom is flat and solid. The first week he used it, he was at a conference and the crowd looked at it. You have been speculating (roughly I think) on how much I paid for this birthday present. He said estimates were $500 and up! I have to say that I would have guessed more than I would have paid to see it in person. Definitely worth the money and will make a great gift for the future.
