For starters. I did NOT get it for free. I found this article while looking for a charger for all my controllers. It can run 4 joycons and 2 professional controllers. I have 4 joycons and 1 professional controller. Although I gave 5 stars, it still has some flaws. But not enough to warrant fewer stars. It comes with a USB Type-C cable, which is nice. But it would be better if it was the one you stick in the wall. Instead, I use the cable that came with my professional controller since it's longer and already plugged into my switch's USB port. And here's the next downside. The port you plug the USB-C end into is very free. If you accidentally hit it or something, it won't charge. You will know if it is on because of the LED tubes. They will always glow green. When you plug in the joystick, it will turn red to indicate that it is charging. It should be noted that the joycons should face each other. So they stand back to back. Otherwise there will be no charging. You'll hear a slight click, which means you've placed it correctly. If not, you're looking at it wrong. A green light will illuminate when charging the Pro Controller, which will turn off when charging is complete. And to know for sure if things are charging, go to the controller settings on the Switch and turn on all your controllers so they show up on screen. Then you will know if they are charging or charging.
