I grew up with covers on old chairs and these covers have shifted, misplaced, shifted around when sat on and the chairs always looked untidy . I inherited two armchairs upholstered in a late 1970's gold theme with birds and leaves. Not on par with the Brady Bunch's finest outrages, but rather unappealing by today's (or even 1985's) standards. I decided to give this modern case a chance to erase the downfall of this 1970s look. And it happened! Finished (after about 15 minutes) the stool looks sharp and the cover does not slip off. Just follow the directions, make sure things are symmetrical, and iron out the creases. The result: the beautification of what was a crime against interior design and the universe at large.
