I won't lie, it was very frustrating and difficult to remove the broken end of the hose to install this. I haven't looked for guides or videos showing how to do this, so there's probably a relatively easy way to do it. I just used two flat head screwdrivers and a bunch of dirty words and muscles for about 10 minutes until I was finally able to remove the broken end piece. Now I don't have to stick a piece of cardboard in the safety switch! Yes, I've been doing this for a few years now, simply because I don't want to spend money on a new hose or nozzle! Now that I have this part installed, it's a lot easier! It's also an exact match to the original on my G5. Should have bought one of these years ago!
