Review on NexiGo Monitor Pan Tilt Zoom Temperature Detection by Jasmine Hart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Above-average baby monitor

My overall experience with the NexiGo camera baby monitor was good. You can find my pros and cons below. Pros: 1) The monitor's screen size, dimensions and weight are compact and extremely portable. 2) I like the graphic design of the camera. 3) The camera is lightweight and the wall mount is versatile. You can mount the mount either pointing down or angled horizontally. 4) The camera can pan up, down, left and right in a variety of angles. You can change the angle by rotating the camera or using the monitor. 5) The camera has night vision capabilities. 6) There's a decent amount of extra features that people may or may not use (like alarms, alerts, and lullabies). 7) You can connect the monitor to multiple cameras. 8) There is a temperature sensor. 9) I find it useful to have a sound and temperature warning system. Babies are sensitive to temperature, so it's good to know if it's changing drastically. The alarm is very sensitive to sounds (e.g. crying) which can be annoying, but I can see how useful it is when your child's room is far from you. 10) This product does not use Wi-Fi to prevent hacking. Cons: 1) Monitor and camera only 720p. It would be nice if it was 1080p or higher. This can also cause the monitor battery to drain faster. 2) There is no option to insert an SD card to save footage. 3) No app or option to access camera from phone. May be due to hacking purposes why this option is not activated. Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities are usually required to view footage on your phone with the app. 5) It would be nice if the monitor could be charged via USB-C to reduce charging time. Overall Impression: I enjoyed using the NexiGo Baby. camera monitor. I would consider this product a good entry level product for the kids monitor and camera market due to the above average performance and video quality resolution. If the customer is looking for a monitor that is less likely to be hacked due to the lack of Wi-Fi capabilities, this product is a good option. This product will be more competitive in the sub $100 price range. I can understand if the product costs $150 and above, if the picture and sound quality is better, Wi-Fi support, SD card support and other additional features.

  • Like everything before
Cons
  • No insurance
