For those wondering if they fit VW Vanagon, they do. You only need to purchase a retaining ring set if you don't have a set to hold your current round lights (some older bulbs have retaining tabs welded to the body instead of a separate retaining ring). The jeep rings will work but only 2 of the 3 tabs will line up so you will need to move one of the tabs with a great job. Better just look for a VW. You will also need to run a wire (about 12 inches) from the front lower turn signal to the turn signal wire on the new headlight. These things are BRILLIANT! So make sure you set them right or you will flash. And remember, the high beams go down.
