Review on DND Spellbook Cards Holder: Organize Your Player Cards For Effortless Reference In Dungeons And Dragons by Gerardo Cibrian

Thematic and easy to carry.4 1/2 stars.

If the intent is to have an 'inventory' of equipment, items, spells, etc. then this can work very well.+ I've had some 'China-special faux leather journals' from eBay and for around $6 they did the job. This feels a bit heftier even though it too is faux leather.+ The sleeves/pockets themselves I was concerned would rip. But they too feel pretty thick and can handle some cards going in-n-out.My third picture is one side full with 30-cards. I was expecting a possible 'design' flaw and they wouldn't provide enough length on the non-removable sleeves/pockets that when full it wouldn't lay well or close well. On the contrary, 30-cards on the top and bottom for a total of 60 is perfect and the pockets work great.> I don't know that I'd personally want to have cards I take in-n-out, in-n-out of this as you have to pull the pocket open enough to slip the card in, thus this will tear the plastic pocket after a while.+ The cards themselves are around 64mm/2.5inch x 88mm/3.5inch which is standard playing card size. These have a thematic fantasy RPG print on them and are double-sided.> Not dry-erasable, so you write on it, then it is permanent.I looked up dry-erasable and most say those are twice as thick. Yes, these pockets can hold two cards thick, but do you want dry-erasable enough to only fit 15 on each half for a total of 30?+ Buying blank white playing cards are sold all over the place and are fairly affordable, so you could buy a stack of cards if you ever fill these 60 starter cards.-- I could not find anywhere to contact Byhoo manufacturer to buy more of these thematic cards, nor could I find other thematic blank cards if I wanted to.+ The pendant uses as a lock is nice and solid.+ The strap the pendant is connected to does fray over time, but can easily be replaced if it does eventually break.OVERALL:A fun, thematic item for players to supplement their characters. Not a lot of similar products out there in this price range, so it fits a niche.Fits easy in a backpack and so much nicer than a tuck box of cards and more wieldy than a binder of cards.Worth checking out!
