So the hard hinges (as you can read in other reviews) were so tight that I considered sending it back. Instead I sprayed them with PAM, wiggled and wiped off the excess and thought this mount is PHENOMENAL! Installed with no problems. I'd say you should think about where you mount it and buy your own hardware if the hardware that comes with it doesn't fit. (To me, that's common sense.) Anyway, I'm very pleased. But: The total distance used by the mount and monitor can make a difference. Approximately 11 inches from the bracket to the center of the monitor. This means that if my monitor was wider than 23 inches, the mount itself would get in the way of folding it up nicely. But my monitor is only 17 inches, so I still had 2.5 inches from the edge of the monitor to the bracket.
