This is a superb quality set. The wooden handles feel hard in my hand. I have long thin hair that is dry and tangles easily - these brushes work well on my hair. I think the comb's wide teeth and the style of the brushes also work really well for those with curly or wavy hair that gets tangled easily. The comb is intentionally designed with an empty hole - the bristles are not missing - this allows hair to fall out of the soft side of the brush when squeezed. Since they're made of wood, you probably can't submerge them in water. or soak to clean. This set comes in a beautiful packaging. The box is an ordinary cardboard box but in a shiny metallic rose gold color. A set of brushes and combs is a good gift. I took a picture of the box to show you.
