Metal comb feels solid. The scissors are quite small, but looks ok. A real hair clipper is a mix of plastic and metal. so I hope it works. Wish me good luck! One caveat - I'm doing this review before I've used the hair clipper to get a free gift - a face clipper that might come in handy.
