Works well Some quirks

I have two of these for the kitchen. They work well with some quirks that this company or the competitor seems to be fixing. But so far this is the best scale I've found in this price range. I'm just saying that there is an option to make some fixes for functionality, charge $5 more and sell 50% more products. Here are the issues the weighing industry needs to address. (1) The indicator/switch panel in the lower right corner requires a reading to the right and capacitive switches to the left (the opposite is now the case) so that the reading does not close when the plate is on the scale. And a portrait would have helped us, not a landscape for less plate coverage on the scale. (Importance 7 out of 10) two. Sometimes this doesn't work, so the process has to be repeated again. Very frustrating! The power button needs to be a real switch that clicks when touched so I know if it's on or off. Remove the tare function from this switch. The container is in constant use, so it must have its own switch (importance 9/10). (3) "unit switch" has 6 units represented by a switch (g, kg, oz, lb, ml, soft) that I need to toggle. loop through to get to the desired device. Now if I could do it once and stay there it wouldn't be a problem but it doesn't happen. Food, water, or other liquid is constantly falling onto the switch, which resets the units, meaning it takes 5 more presses to return it to its original position after I realized it was wrong. This is a constant problem when switching weight units. Speaking of which, ml is not a measure of weight, it is a measure of volume, so it should be taken off the scale. Come on "milk" that's crazy, just tell people to use grams. Let's not confuse people by thinking that this scale can measure both 100ml of water and 100ml of honey, it's just not possible because volume can't be measured with a scale. These additional functions of these multi-function switches cause many problems. I believe if the units were reduced to 4 ie grams, kilograms, ounces and pounds with a 2 second hold time to change the units it would solve most of this problem. Or make it a stop switch. (Importance 9/10) Now I'm finding it hard to understand why the company can't spot these simple problems when only people in the company are using them. However, this is a universal problem because designers don't interact with users. I'm hoping that one of these scale manufacturers will be willing to make these simple changes, charge $5 more, and sell a lot more scales, but likely the Japanese or Chinese will pull it off for some reason.
