For the price I paid (about $26) this is a quality gaming mouse! It looks silly and useless in the photo, but it works pretty well in every way. Responsiveness: The high polling rate makes it very responsive and I haven't had any issues with misinterpreted movements yet. Weight: This is about average weight. It's nice even though you can't change the weight. Size: It's not as big as the Zowie FK1, but still big enough for my huge hands. Mouse Pad Detection: Works on all my surfaces (shiny mouse pad, soft cloth mouse pad, chair back destroyed by a stupid cat) with no problems. The Zowie FK1 didn't even perform as well as this one. Extra buttons: It took me a few days to get used to the buttons instead of the thumb buttons, but I find them even better now that I have them. Slide: Slides are better than any mouse I've ever had. Didn't have to use teflon tape like other mice. Software: I find the software has too many options and can be confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it you can make the mouse work exactly how you want it to.
