For the past 11 months, I have worked with this keyboard for ten hours per day. I feel like a masochist. The fact that the layout is the same as on a poppy is the only reason I didn't throw it away. (Except for two keys; fn and left Ctrl are not the same as on a poppy; they were swapped, but it's even more convenient for me.) The only reason I didn't throw it away is because the layout is like on a poppy. I was unable to locate a replacement, with the possible exception of Claudia, who works at a florist; however, the cost is very different for her. The primary argument is that it has a persistent broken link with the poppy. There is a glitch in the Logitech program that allows you to use all of the function keys as the standard function keys if you click the option labeled "Use all function keys as standard function keys." But the effect is cumulative over time. Therefore, breaking the connection with the poppy and attempting to connect to another device happens when you press the F3 key, which is a key that I use rather often. And so on multiple occasions during the day. In addition, it loses communication with the poppy for no apparent reason at least once a day, and I have no control over the circumstances surrounding this event. It is situated at a distance of twenty to thirty centimeters away from the poppy (I have a stand; a poppy is perched above it; underneath it, there is a keyboard and a touchpad). Therefore, the distance is irrelevant to the discussion. On a different radio channel, there is an older keyboard that is three years old that is very cheap (three times cheaper than this one), and it has a Windows layout. I use it on a Linux laptop. In the course of three years of use, there have NEVER, EVER been any issues of this nature. It was initially used on a poppy, but I later decided to switch it to another device that also had a poppy pattern. This is a decision that I now regret, as it is possible to become accustomed to the layout, but frequent disconnections cannot be tolerated.
