I really recommend these socks!

Love these and will probably buy more! It takes a bit of history to explain why. A little over a year ago I sprained both my ankles. I've twisted my ankles a lot more in the past and recovered beautifully within a couple of weeks. But I'm older now and not healed. I quit all forms of physical activity - walking, treadmill, elliptical, and weight lifting. I went to the doctor who found only soft tissue damage (no fractures or tears) and told me to keep doing what I'm doing. A year later, my ankles were still swollen, still tight, and still prone to pain when wearing heels or walking too much in my mostly sedentary desk job, all at 15 pounds. worse from lack of exercise. I decided to get over it and go back to the gym. It hurt, my feet and ankles swell up after every workout. I had cheap compression sleeves to sleep in to reduce pain and swelling. I figured if I could work out with some compression around my feet and ankles that might help too so I bought these socks. When I first put them on, I did a treadmill workout with no discomfort! And that's saying a lot, because even before the injury I had hip and calf pain from the treadmill and had to rest for 2 days before I could train again. So I decided to see how far I could go with these socks. I focused on the treadmill, which I mainly used to warm up before other types of exercise, and started trotting (it doesn't seem right to call what I do running) faster and longer. 6 weeks. Yesterday I ran my first 5K race.
