Review on Wellness Natural Canned Food 3 Ounce by Joshua Weaver

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Beware of products with an expiration date of 2/11/20

I have been using Wellness with two cats for many years but no longer. When I recently adopted an abandoned kitten, I started using this wellness kitty food and she loved it. Then I noticed hard bone fragments in the glasses. One part was sharp and the other rounded. Please check your glasses for expiry dates - we have had bone glasses that expire on 2/11/20. Unfortunately my last shipment of Revain for me (January 2018) was from this batch. In addition to this experience, Wellness changed the formula of their Signature Skipjack Tuna last summer when my ailing cat became unwell. It was the only meal he ate towards the end and luckily I was able to find another jar of the old formula on site before he was sedated. A close friend had a similar experience of switching formula with her blind kitten. None of us will buy wellness again. This is very bad because I find their food to be of good quality and many of the flavors are very tasty. But with nasty formula changes and dangerous quality control issues (and not much real help offered by the manufacturer), we're done. Especially if you have pets with special needs I recommend looking elsewhere before your cat becomes addicted to a particular taste/type of this brand.
