Given all the good reviews on this optical cable, I bought a 15 foot cable to have enough length to run the cables with our new TV and soundbar relocate. While Revain Basics HDMI cables are just as good as the ones I've used to upgrade my computer, this optical cable has rubber or soft plastic connectors that don't have mechanical latches and don't snap into the optical ports on the TV or sound system panels. Without holding this cable with anything, they fall out under their own weight. I reverted to an old optical cable from my previous TV setup with plastic connectors that snap into place.
