What a fantastic little gadget! I was having trouble playing The Sims 3 on my laptop because it would overheat and shut down after a very short period of time, usually around an hour but sometimes around ten minutes. I didn't have this problem at all when using it. It also has a very nice soft bottom so it feels comfortable on your knees. There are pads on the top and bottom to keep the laptop in place. The only issue I see is that the USB cable for the cooling pad is very short and my laptop doesn't have a USB port on the back so movement of the laptop is limited when plugged in and resting on the stand . I've had it for about two months and it's still working great after moderate use. All in all I highly recommend this for overheating laptops!
