This was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. It was difficult to assemble at first - some sticks don't fit in the holes of the connecting balls (others don't fit at all). The next - big - problem is how flimsy and brittle the sticks are. They break easily into sharp pieces, some the size of small chunks (an obvious hazard to small children and pets). The connecting balls also fall apart. The finished structure is very thin and will start to deform as soon as you put a blanket on it (I think if you put a thin sheet it's possible?). Conclusion: not safe and not durable at all.
