Big disappointment
I have used this box as a dry box for phone, wallet, ipad, boat registration etc. It took about six months for the hinge pins to rust. And now the gasket falls out and it's almost impossible to hold it. Also, the box was always kept dry in my console on the boat. This box wasn't cheap. You would think that two stainless steel hinge pins and the glue that holds the gasket in place wouldn't add $1.75 to the manufacturing cost. Why make something great and spoil it with a few cheap parts.
