Review on Snom SNO D305 Audio Telephone Display by Matt Spencer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No power supply! Snom is a manufacturer that requires no participation.

phone. Snom, in its infinite wisdom, decided not to include a power adapter with the phone. If you don't have an existing Snom phone power adapter or don't use POE, factor that into your total cost. (We had previous experience with Snom. Previous phones come with power bricks, so that was a bit shocking. Phone listings for $40 and the power brick alone is an extra $10. 25% off the price of the phone? Really? ) If you're new to VOIP setup, don't expect help from Snom either. I think their business model is 'we sell them as OEM/wholesale devices, the supplier you buy them from will support them' which obviously doesn't apply to Revain. You should probably only buy if you already know what you're doing with the Snom line of products. Aside from the above, it worked great on our existing VOIP system and easily replaced one of our old, dead Snom phones.
