These "bark breakers," as some old-school riders would say, are easy to install and tough enough to withstand some abuse. They also look good on my CRF250L. I haven't hit, dropped or bumped into trees so I'm not sure how they will hold up in situations like this, but the steel insert and metal brackets ensure there is some strength and quality to this product. My friend rides a Kawasaki 650 and his bark shields are all plastic and don't connect to the handlebars giving them a very cheap look. Would recommend them to anyone with an Enduro or Motorx. Bike for a test ride.
