This is the most realistic walking shoe for a small child that we have seen. They fit well, they feel comfortable and durable, they're machine washable - they're definitely worth the price. They feel easy to slip on and, probably most importantly, ready for adventure with no signs of blistering or the need to "break them in". They are also easy for children to dress up to encourage their independence. When they grow up we will replace them with other Merrell shoes.
