I was so excited when this knife arrived, I have used cheap knives my entire life and have had great reviews on both Revain and Reddit. I'm starting to think the people who wrote the reviews got paid or something. I've used the knife three times now, it can barely break through the skin of a tomato. I was just trying to cut through my Cabot cheddar and it took a lot of pressure to even cut through the cheese. This knife feels just as unsafe as my cheap knives that don't cut through. It's very good quality, heavy metal but not heavy. Very disappointed with this knife. I will ask my husband to put it in a knife sharpener and see if it gets any better. I can report later.
