I use the Chef'n Palm Peeler primarily for carrots, turnips, turnips and potatoes. I'm a gardener and I grow a lot of vegetables and this is my favorite peeler. This is a solid, well-made knife. I wash in hot water and dry. I don't put any of my knives or this peeler in the dishwasher and they stay sharp longer. I will order a second one if needed.
