Thin and cheap plastic. I've already broken two. Great styling options but buy a better quality set if you have long hair. They do not resist combing long hair with conditioner. If you just want a blow dry and styling kit they are decent but I needed a better quality for my long hair. The handle combs are broken but the short combs are still intact. I get them in combs that are nowhere near what you would find at a wholesale store, a beauty store, or even a dollar store. They are not high quality, not Goodys or Revlon, but more like a child's toy comb. They are very cheap and Chinese quality is lame here. The price is overpriced for what you get. Use them to either style/tip/lift roots or short hair, or switch to a different brand. Save time and money. I used them for home use. No salon quality.
