Great wifi router. Have two to extend coverage (works better than trying to blast the wifi signal and you have ethernet ports on the other side). A few tips: On the first device, use "ap bridge" and then "wds" WiFi mode. slave" on the second device. "WDS Slave" has the advantage of tracking the master device in case the radio channel changes. For wds mode use "Dynamic Mesh" and choose the local one Network bridge (Bridge1 by default) Configure both For stability and security use the same WiFi channel, encryption type/key and SSID For stability and security use 20MHz channel width on both and make sure the Default Wi-Fi Key is set to WPA2 PSK on the Security Profiles tab If you are unsure about wireless network congestion in your area, see Band Usage and Scanner in the Wireless Network menu. Select the least used channel from the registration table in the Wireless Network tab. It is quite difficult to assign all Ethernet ports for the LAN on the remote side connect Under interfaces, the "mast port" connects the port to the IC ter switch. So you should set port 1 to "none" and set the remaining ports to "ether1". If you have an internet connection that's faster than 50Mbps, you might want to look elsewhere as the ports on this router are Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) and WiFi 802.11bgn at 2.4GHz, which in some areas is pretty good. This is great for my needs and I suspect Mikrotik will release a Happen 802.11ac router in the near future. If for some reason you can't access your router, try the telnet function for Winbox and Mac.
