Last time I bought the SmoothMove version which came with the box and separate lid. I think that's ok if you're going to keep the boxes. However, assembly requires adult supervision and a lot of time. It also took a long time to dismantle boxes for recyclables. THESE are just as strong. THE ASSEMBLY CONSISTS OF RESPECTING THE BOX and lowering a piece of cardboard to reinforce the bottom. When it's time to get rid of the boxes, stacking them is a breeze. The thoughtful design allows you to securely close the box without tape. I like these carts because of the cut outs that become handles. These are big boxes that can fit a lot of things. Of course, they can then become very difficult. I had a crate of a Kitchenaid stand mixer, which is intentionally heavy, an indoor grill, a food processor, and a few other goodies. The box held like it was full of socks.
