I bought these to wrap a foldable plastic table so it stays closed when folded in half. Regular plastic folding tables have a plastic "U-clip" that sometimes breaks and this part is not available for exchange/purchase online. Instead of making the replacement out of metal or other hacky materials, I decided to wrap it with large rubber bands. Worked perfectly. I used a piece of string to determine the length of elastic I would need to get around the table. After using the rope to measure the length, I made a circle out of it and measured the diameter, then ordered rubber bands in that size. Worked great and saved me $80 on a new table purchase. I bought some large 23 inch rubber bands to use on our large 50 gallon trash cans. They work as intended on trash cans.
