I have to drive all over town and relied on google navigation on my android phone to help me, unfortunately my phone flew away due to my driving and I found myself holding hands . it's in one hand, leaving one hand to steer - a very dangerous situation that I don't like to be in. With this device; Keeps my device intact so I only have to look around to assess my location and since it's held still my eyes take a lot less time to focus on the screen allowing me to focus on driving again. . I drive very fast and always try to be aware of my surroundings and upcoming situations and this device helps me balance my need to use GPS navigation, maintain situational awareness and not brake too hard. I can't connect my device to charge. Thank goodness the side pillows hold it well enough that I can get my "legs" out of the way, slide the device lower, charge and use the device without worrying about it slipping off. The 360° rotatable head doubles as a tilt head so I can tilt my device so the screen is parallel to my eyes. Overall I think the purchase was worth it. By mounting it on an air conditioner vent, I can keep the unit cool in the summer so it doesn't overheat in the sun, which happens quickly.
