Review on LogCabin by Kenneth Barnes

I like how easy it was to set up for our use case - we are using Redis as an in-memory data store rather than SQL so this helped us get off the ground quickly! We also used logscribe which made things even easier by allowing you to write log messages directly into your redis database without needing another service or process running alongside them (e.g., writing JMX metrics). It's not clear from their website if they support other languages but since Java 8 has been released with lambda expressions/lambdas being added natively to java8 there might be some workarounds possible? Not sure what these would look like though. The main thing holding me back right now isn't having any problems yet; just making my mind ready to tackle potential issues when they do arise. Using AWS Lambda functions instead of EC2 instances helps reduce costs while maintaining high availability at all times due to inherent redundancy built.
