Review on Soundcraft Notepad-5 USB Analog Mixing Console (5085980US) - Compact Five-Channel Small-Format Console by Hayden Lim (Hayden L ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

I just needed a dibox. But since mixers are cheaper now (lol), of course I took the console, which has almost everything you need for creativity, so to speak. There are many possibilities. For example, you can connect a microphone, guitar, synthesizer and record all this through the XLR outputs. Or you can just output the sound to monitors (or headphones) and play at home / on a turnip. Monitoring itself is available. Equalizer. It is also a sound card, you can play and chat on the stream, listen to music, watch movies. Looks decent, weighty, rubber feet, cable loop. And yes, it's much cooler than just a sound card. Of course, everything here is budget. Noisy preamps with mediocre dynamics, rude DACs and ADCs, simple connectors, a primitive control panel, high ASIO delays. To use as a ZK, you may have to install asio for all. No ADAT or at least SPDIF interface. But in general, for beginners (and with low requirements for specific functions) a very suitable device. In general, such functionality for such little money is just a gift. Really. I strongly recommend.
