I received my 2 hand saltwater tank with a lot of problems. Over time I was able to fix everything with vodka dosing and water changes EXCEPT phosphates. I've struggled with my phosphates for months, I've bought special filter pads, reduced feeding as much as possible, switched coral food brands, made sure the coral food was targeted and not diffused. No changes so far. That. Is a. Magic. Follow directions closely, err on the side of underdosing. I checked the day, dosed, checked the next day and saw a solid 0.5 drop. Did a massive coral feed and water change (it was a maintenance day), dosed again, tested today and saw another 0.5 drop. My skimmer is working harder than usual and I think the filter pads look pretty ugly, but I haven't checked. I will probably have to dose on another day (as I said, that was a big problem). All the corals seem happy, all the fish and inverted fish feel great. I highly recommend keeping this product in your reef aquarium.
