At just $30, this controller is a great deal and a contender for the title of best alternative to the Nintendo Pro controller. It fits perfectly in the hand and the plastic doesn't look cheap. The front plastic has a soft, rubbery coating that gives it a premium feel. The backlight is cool and you can turn it off if you don't like it. The blue light on the bottom of the controller that shows the player number (as seen in the pictures) shines forward so no matter what color you use there will be some blue at the bottom. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning if that bothers you. At least they didn't try to hide it in the product images. All buttons feel pretty good. The triggers work the same as the Nintendo Pro Controller. Joysticks are good with a very small dead zone (not noticeable at all). The top of the joystick is a bit slick, but the sides are very grippy. The ABXY keys are tactile but not very clicky. That's a good balance. The D-Pad was a pleasant surprise. A lot of controllers have bad d-pads, but the d-pad looks pretty good on this one. Has good tactile feedback. Not super clicky like other controllers. The diagonal entrances were a bit tricky for me, especially up and to the right. This D-Pad is larger than I'm used to, so that might be what I'm used to. I don't play fighting games, so I can't comment on how things work with scrolling inputs. The vibration motors are okay, but even on their lowest setting they are a bit intense. There is a rattling noise at maximum level (I would never use it at this level). The vibration level can be changed/disabled via the controller (see user manual). This wakes the switch from sleep after the first pairing. The gyroscope works well. I didn't test input lag, but didn't notice any difference to my Pro Controller.
