I bought this set of headphones after an old pair I was using (not Sony) also stopped working. I mainly use it with my laptop and found the sound quality to be pretty good, the bass won't be too deep (because it's relatively small and bass in headphones isn't usually that deep), but everything sounds good. and sure. The headphone jack is at a 90-degree angle, so you don't have to deal with bent cables. The wires are quite long and thin and seem prone to tangling. I was initially skeptical that the headphones would irritate my ears as some others tend to give me earaches after a while (even after changing ear pads), but these are quite snug and comfortable in my ears. .The only thing I would advise buyers is that this model does not seem to have volume controls on the headphones themselves, only a microphone and a mute button. While this shouldn't be a deal breaker for many as you can control the volume from the device itself, it's a good idea to take this into account when comparing to other products.
