I spent an hour removing the sticky adhesive that was attached to the sticker on the top of the step stool. The stool looks sturdy and flimsy, but I couldn't use it because of the glue stuck to the top. Obviously, the CEO never opened up this product the way a consumer would. If he/she did, he/she would not allow the company to sell the product that way, while simply applying two inches of "duct tape" to attach the sticker would work just as well. Come on Rubber Maiden! It seems that many hours of engineering to create a decent stool are offset by a lack of attention to packaging. After an hour of peeling and scraping off the elastic adhesive (using many methods including gloves, towels, and WD-40), there is still some adhesive left on the top.
