This case is great value. It seems very protective and works well for folding and holding a pencil. Despite what has been written, it definitely charges the pencil. It might not always be obvious that it loads, but it does. One thing that bothered me a bit when I first got the case was that it was very easy to slip the iPad into the case, which made me wonder if the case would hold up, if she would be dropped and hit. However, when the iPad is in a case it seems safe, so I wasn't concerned about that.
