Loud? Definitely! Sounds like a car. The downside is that it's wider, but this is stated in the specs. Also, I have to paint it. If you need a better horn and have an unobtrusive place to install it then this is a great horn. Just make sure the horn isn't touching anything other than its own mount or it will sound awkward. I mounted it on a 2013 Triumph Scrambler. I had to spread the reflector mount to mount the horn, but the plugs fit into the flat plugs on the horn and it fits the bolt perfectly.
