Review on ⭐️ Enhanced Accuracy with Starrett 134 Cross Level 3 Inch: Perfect for Precision Measurements by Ashwin Chauhan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Starrett has been making this instrument for many years, but .

Starrett have been making this instrument for many years but it is no longer a quality product. They even include a small, scathing note in the packaging that says this tool is not to be used as a trial square and that due to the tool's low cost, we as customers should not expect it to be square. I would pay two or three times as much if they produced it to the same standard as many years ago. Not only were the interior surfaces not square, they weren't even flat. It looked like a locksmith student trying to smooth and smooth everything out with a hand file. In addition, the two planes installed side by side in the short arm of the instrument were not parallel, making it impossible to center the bubble in both bubbles at the same time. One would think Starrett would at least offer a higher quality. much more expensive version of this tool, but they are not available. In fact, I can't find a similar instrument anywhere except from a Japanese company that doesn't sell their products in the US. I also have to say that this isn't the first (or second) time I've found a modern Starrett tool missing. I guess I'll have to keep looking or try to find an old Starrett 134 on eBay.
