The metal is strong and has not broken and the bowl has not cracked in a year of use. This product does not consume electricity and works silently. use. Cons: - I don't like how difficult it is to take the candle out after it has burned out. I have to use my nails and remove the water and peel from the top. - Compared to an electric diffuser, this requires more control. To keep the glass from breaking, I have to keep an eye on the bowl so all the water doesn't evaporate, and I can't pour cold water into a bowl that's already been heated with a candle. I have broken a glass bowl from these bugs in the past.
