How can you really describe how good a product is when you expect it to work well and it really does? Impossible! The drive either works well or it doesn't. (Although I suppose if you did the non-destructive testing in a lab, well, maybe. But I don't have a lab!) I've had great luck with Maxell products, starting with the old cassettes I used to buy. I still have them and they have irreplaceable recordings that are not on DVD. If cassettes hold up so well, then so will DVDs. I have no reason to believe that. I recommend it. Does what it should.
