I had a small tech shop fixing my brother's iPad Air because the screen was cracked and after they fixed the screen it turned out that part of the screen wasn't registering the touch , so it was pretty safe The game was tough. After my brother smashed the screen AGAIN we decided to save some money and buy a screen and do it ourselves as the tech store we went to did a pretty bad job of replacing it. When we replaced the screen we didn't have the problems the tech store had. . The screen worked perfectly. We did the swap without a hair dryer but kept the glue from the previous screen and after we put everything back in place there was a small part at the top that didn't stay flush. So try to get rid of the old glue if you can.
