These LED strips were exactly what I was looking for to install under my kitchen cabinet lighting. I needed something cut to length that could be completely hidden. I used two kits for my project as I have outlets installed above my cabinets and needed to be able to power them with two separate adapters and also control them with two separate dimmers. The wires from the power supplies and dimmer switches were long enough to be hidden between closet drawers. If you just plug into wall outlets under cabinets, you don't care. I created jumpers between the strips and wires to create the angles I needed (the two types of snap connectors I tried were absolute rubbish and would flicker at the slightest bump or touch, so I preferred screw connectors to this product ). error, just for info). I haven't seen an answer to this question, but please note that these are 8mm wide strips. BENEFITS: • Wireless remote works through cabinets and from long distances • Remote offers 9 levels of dimming from maximum to minimum • Adhesive has held very well so far - make sure you clean the surface properly and prepare it for good adhesion • The system retains last setting (I use a wall switch to control two of my sets) • The IP65 silicone is easy to remove - just make a good cut and remove with your fingers. ODD: • Company not responding to extended warranty offer and attached coupon • Packaging and descriptions everywhere. There is a photo of a coil with two additional color temperatures in the half on the box which is confusing. The sticker on the box says "6000-6500K," which is confusing. Their website shows 3500K or 6000K as a choice, but the second photo/description says 6500K. The user manual says 6000-6500K which is confusing. Yes, that's the bright white daylight color temperature I prefer, but I don't have expensive equipment to measure the actual temperature. The inconsistencies are a bit amusing. Just note that they don't switch between two color temperatures. I would buy it again for a future lighting project.
